A crew comes to a small town in southern China for the pre-production of a film called RIPPLE OF LIFE. Initially, the film was set based on the idea that "In this town, life is mundane with nothing really happening", but beyond the script, a series of surprising stories do happen......
Wei Shujun was born in 1991 Beijing, China. He started his career as an actor at 14 years old. He completed masters degree at the Communication University of China. His film credits include ON THE BORDER (short film - 2018) and STRIDING INTO THE WIND (feature - 2020), both are featured in Cannes.
